On Thursday evening, the students, parents, teachers and guests of CDSC were presented a delicacy which was very special in particular for (German) culture lovers living abroad. Kristina Häger, who currently teaches music at CDSC and is still contracted as a member of the choir at the German Opera in Berlin, prepared together with her senior class students a classical German recital with works of Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Mahler and Strauss.

Already at the gateway to the College of Music Payap where the concert took place the guests were warmly welcomed by volonteers who awaited them with two big bunches of balloons. The way to the concert hall was lightened by candles, the stair railing was decorated with clothes. Obviously everything was prepared with much attention to the detail. The music hall decorated with flower arrangements offered a worthy, classy ambience for the carefully planned program: While the students supplied the audience with important information about the componists for each part of the program Kristian Häger (mezzosoprano) and Remi Namtep of the Music College Payap (piano) offered the guests a musical performance according to the standard of highly professional musicians which was - especially in an Asian city far away from the various cultural offer in Germany - a true delight. We would like to express our gratitude towards Kristina Häger who enriched our anniversary program so much by planning and conducting this atmospheric evening in a special way!
